PAINT THE CITY BLUE

We are holding a storefront/window decorating contest for BUSINESSES within the Alleghany Highlands Public Schools districting map and a home decorating contest for RESIDENTS within the Alleghany Highlands Public Schools districting map to "Paint the City Blue" for Alleghany High School's Homecoming weekend which kicks off with a parade beginning on Main Street and ending at Casey Field, Thursday, October 5th.

There are two categories, BUSINESS and RESIDENTIAL

Each category will have a 1st Place and a 2nd place.
Winners will be announced at the Bonfire, on Thursday, October 5th.

There will be an optional contest of "Peoples Choice". In order to participate, YOU must submit a picture along with your registration. By doing so you allow us to publish it on all social media, websites, local news publications, etc (You must want to be sure your address is blurred or not visible in the photo). Pictures will be posted based upon whether they are business or residential and the one with the most "likes" on Facebook wins.
Winners will be announced Friday, October 6th.
